    Arizona was the first foal born in Australia sired by Tribune (USA).\u00a0 The product of a lot of planning, we were so excited and the pregnancy felt like it would never end.\u00a0 We hit the jackpot when we got a beautiful healthy bay tovero filly with two blue eyes, just what we had ordered!\u00a0 Unfortunately this luck did not last and Arizona broke her pastern as a foal.\u00a0 This stopped us from showing her, which is a real shame because we feel she would have been very competitive.\u00a0 That said, she is paddock sound and we look forward to seeing how she produces as a broodmare.<\/p>\n

    Arizona is in foal to GPS Hez Ice Te for a palomino or buckskin foal due in August 2020.

      After losing Rumble and her weanling filly Bobby in 2017, we had effectively lost this bloodline from our breeding program, so we approached Sharni Beck about the prospect of purchasing Rumble’s only living daughter, Burkes First To Rumble.\u00a0 This mare was very special to Sharni and she was reluctant to let her go, but luckily we were privileged to be given the opportunity to purchase her at the end of 2017.\u00a0 Fruity is sired by APHA World Champion First Down (imp USA), a stallion we have always been fond of.\u00a0 The quality is clearly strong on both sides of her pedigree!\u00a0 She is a lovely red dun with prominent dorsal stripe and leg colouring.\u00a0 Fruity has produced several excellent foals, first for Smiths Creek Paint Horses and then for Acorshe Park, but we are eager to see what we can achieve with this mare in the next chapter of her life!\u00a0 She will be bred in 2019 for a 2020 foal.<\/p>\n

        This mare is just breathtaking! Hannah is Sonza Paint Horses first imported horse. \u00a0She is by Coolest (USA) who was regarded as one of the elite sires in America. \u00a0He is the sire of over 35 World and Reserve World Champions.\u00a0 Her dam, Time To Play (USA), goes back to many great versatile horses including Quorum, Scotch Bar Time, Zippo Pine Bar and Baron Bell.\u00a0 Hannah is the dam of DMB Cool Down by First Down (imp USA), among others.\u00a0 We look forward to breeding plenty more champions out of this mare over the coming years.<\/p>\n

        Coolest Yet (imp USA) produced a chestnut overo colt by Tribune (USA) in 2018.\u00a0 Sadly we lost Hannah in January 2019.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Purchasing Rumble in 2015 was a dream come true for us.\u00a0 We have adored her since we first layed eyes on her at Burke Stud in 2010.\u00a0 She has produced countless champions including Burkes First To Rumble (sired by First Down), DMB In Print (sired by RH Mr Imprint) and DMB Ready To Rumble (sired by RH Mr Imprint).\u00a0 Before coming to Australia, Rumble was shown extensively in the US throughout Colorado and Wyoming achieving many open and amateur halter points.\u00a0 She was the 2002 Wyoming Paint Horse Club Circuit Champion.\u00a0 Her outstanding pedigree features AQHA World Champion and Hall Of Fame inductee Mr Conclusion, Scotch Bar Time (also in the AQHA Hall Of Fame) and numerous other successful Paint Horses and Quarter Horses.<\/p>\n

          Molly was our first Paint Horse and was purchased by Gill as a riding horse.\u00a0 After a few years under saddle Gill decided she would put her in foal, the beginning of Sonza Paint Horses.\u00a0 Her first foal was a bay colt by One More Jessie (see Previous Foals page) and since then she has produced four more foals for us – one by Hillbilly King Of Fire and then three by QT Dunupdouble (imp USA).\u00a0 Molly’s temperament is wonderful and at 16.2hh she is certainly a gentle giant.\u00a0 She has been retired from breeding now but will spend the rest of her days roaming the pastures with the rest of the broodmares.<\/p>\n
