History of Sonza

After building and establishing the first ever Veterinary Clinic in Eden, NSW, we decided upon a change and relocated to the Bungendore / Queanbeyan region.   We purchased the property now known as “Sonza” in 1988.  We commenced building the boarding facilities soon after, whilst Dr. John worked as a Veterinarian at another Canberra Clinic.

In 1991 we established a Veterinary Clinic here at Sonza and our clientele rapidly grew.  In 1998 after the arrival of our son, we realised the need to build a clinic separate to our home.  A purpose built clinic was then erected on our property. 

Now, in 2009, we have again outgrown our current facilities and are extending our clinic to add another four rooms.  We anticipate that these extensions will be complete by mid 2009. 

We are a family owned and operated business, and employ some fantastic staff members who all slot in as part of “our family”.  We focus on quality care, professionalism and we like our clients to feel like they are a part of our family too.  We treat our clients animals as if they were our own and have a very fond relationship with many a pet and owner throughout the ACT and surrounding region.
